Healing Arenas is excited to host a Tactical Training (formal FSTEP) for our local first responder personnel (San Joaquin and Stanislaus County, Modesto and Escalon Fire Departments, Veterinarians and Techs, Animal Control, Sheriff’s Mounted Unit, law enforcement and EMS).

Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale has been gracious to sponsor their venue for this important training!  Pre-requisite for registration and the registration fee is listed on the flyer below.  For more information on the professional trainers, the livestock Emergency Management organization, and important free Emergency Tips for livestock owners, please visit: http://www.halterfund.org/

**NOTE**  We also have the opportunity to offer the local equine community (owners, trainers, 4H leaders and students, FFA, horse clubs, etc) their own specific Large Animal Rescue Awareness training (LAR), soon to be a pre-requisite for the formal FSTEP class.  The registration fee for this 1 day only class (which includes classroom and demonstrations only – actual rescue equipment and tactics are usually performed by 911 services) will be $150 and require 15 students to be effective.  To get an idea of  the education provided at these trainings, again please visit:  http://www.halterfund.org/

**NOTE** If you are NOT a professional First Responder and are interested in this LAR Awareness Training AND/OR forming a Formal Central Valley LAR Team, please contact us immediately in order to schedule your training for 2017 (spots are almost taken for 2017) click here!  Contact Us.
